Justice Department seeks to overturn seditious conspiracy convictions from Jan. 6 Capitol attack

The U.S. Justice Department has asked a federal appeals court to throw out seditious conspiracy convictions against leaders of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers for their roles in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack.
