Anthropic releases powerful AI model to vetted users only, citing catastrophic risk potential

Anthropic has launched a restricted release of Mythos, an AI model officials say is capable of taking down major corporations, disrupting the internet, or breaching national defense systems. Only around 40 vetted organizations have been granted access.
