Kazakhstan targets value-added food exports as it builds regional processing hub

Kazakhstan is working to shift its agricultural exports from raw commodities like sunflower meal and durum wheat toward higher-value processed food products, with a target date of 2028 to make value-added goods the dominant share of its export portfolio.
