Chinese scientists grew a tiny beating heart conductor in a lab and it might make pacemakers obsolete

Scientists in Shanghai have used stem cells to grow the world's first lab-made sinoatrial node - the heart's natural pacemaker - and the tiny organoid actually beats on its own. Researchers say it could revolutionize cardiac research and eventually replace electronic pacemakers.
